Wesley Community ActionWhat we doWesley Community Action works in communities throughout Wellington to help people build better lives for themselves and their whānau.
Our mahi spans four inter-related foundations that communities need to support a good life: · Connected and supportive whānau · Financial stability · Good kai · Warm, safe and dry housing Our mahi is based on the belief that people are the experts in their own lives. We support them to identify their strengths and skills and the changes they believe will allow them to have a better life. We work with people and communities of all ages, backgrounds and stages of life. Our mahi tackles injustice as we seek transformative change at both individual and institutional levels. Te Tiriti shapes our work as we journey to becoming a Kaupapa Te Tiriti organisiation.
