Breannah Brown - Coordinator

I am pleased to step into the role of Coordinator for the Te Rito Network. I am committed to supporting the vital work carried out by the organisations and practitioners who make up this Network and to ensuring the continuity of the strong relationships and collaboration Te Rito is known for.

I would like to acknowledge the significant contribution of Janet Bagshaw, whose leadership and dedication over many years have shaped the strength, connectedness, and reputation of the Te Rito community. It is a privilege to continue the mahi she has fostered.

In this role, I will be supporting our monthly meetings, coordinating training opportunities, and maintaining a Network environment where collaboration, learning, and meaningful relationships can thrive. I am committed to upholding the values of Te Rito and contributing to its ongoing development.
Children are present at about 80% of all violent incidents in New Zealand homes. 1 in 3 women experience violence from their partner in their lifetime.

Age Concern investigates an average of 10 new cases of elder abuse every day.
