What we do

​The core service of the Collective is the provision of health information, referral and support to women throughout the Wellington area. All the Health Collective services are provided free of charge.

Support and Information
The Support Service offers a welcoming and safe space for women to access information and support including:

• A non-judgmental and empathetic listener
• Guidance and advice, and referrals to other agencies if necessary
• Tools and techniques that may improve or help you cope with your situation
• Referring to the Health Collective's own counselling services

You should usually be able to speak to a support person within a couple of days.
Health Collective services are provided free of charge.

Free Counselling
Women on low incomes are able to access 8 free consecutive sessions with one of our qualified and experienced counsellors. Sessions are held in private rooms at the Wellington Women's Health Collective.

Group Work
Providing empowering connections and activating intentional care, within group settings.
