What we do

Wellington Sexual Abuse HELP Foundation works with survivors of sexual violence, their family and whānau – of any age, gender, sexuality or ethnicity.  We provide support across the Wellington region including Porirua and the Kāpiti coast. 

Our services:
  • 24/7 support line - Call 04 801 6655 and press 0 at the menu.
  • Crisis support - A skilled team of crisis workers provide 24/7 support that includes telephone support, attending medical and police processes following an assault. 
  • Social work - Our social workers provide information, resources as well as confidential emotional and practical support.
  • Counselling - We have a team of experienced counsellors, including Māori practitioners who support people affected by sexual violence. 
  • Education - We provide education focussed on reducing the impacts of sexual violence for police, doctors and other organisations in our community.
