The Salvation Army Wellington Community Ministries, based in Newtown is a welcoming hub of support for people and families across our city. We provide a range of practical and holistic services designed to strengthen wellbeing and help people regain stability and independence. Our team offers kai support, welfare assistance, social work, financial mentoring, counselling, and advocacy, ensuring that anyone who comes through our doors receives compassionate, tailored help. Alongside these services, we also provide support for seniors and a warm drop‑in centre, creating a safe place for connection, advice, and community. Whether someone needs help in a moment of crisis or tools for long term change, we walk alongside them with respect, dignity, and care. Our contact detailsWho to contactRobyn Putt
