We offer a range of empowering programmes for both groups and individuals across the Wellington region. These programmes are designed to inspire hope, ignite knowledge, and transform lives.
Our free programmes include:
  • Master Your Money – Build confidence and practical skills to take control of your finances.
  • Positive Lifestyle Programme – Learn strategies to improve wellbeing, manage stress, and enhance resilience.
  • Parenting Programme – Supportive guidance and tools for strengthening family relationships.
  • Life skills Programme – Develop essential skills for everyday life, and personal growth.

The Salvation Army Wellington Community Ministries, based in Newtown is a welcoming hub of support for people and families across our city. We provide a range of practical and holistic services designed to strengthen wellbeing and help people regain stability and independence. Our team offers kai support, welfare assistance, social work, financial mentoring, counselling, and advocacy, ensuring that anyone who comes through our doors receives compassionate, tailored help.
Alongside these services, we also provide support for seniors and a warm drop‑in centre, creating a safe place for connection, advice, and community. Whether someone needs help in a moment of crisis or tools for long term change, we walk alongside them with respect, dignity, and care.
