RespectEd AotearoaWhat we doRespectEd Aotearoa (formerly Sexual Abuse Prevention Network) works with schools, businesses, and groups in our community to educate and create open dialogues about sexual violence and to teach strategies and skills to prevent it. We believe that all adults can play a role in preventing sexual abuse.
One in four women, one in eight men and one in two trans* people experience sexual violence in their lifetime. We believe that education and prevention are important in keeping our family, friends, whanau, and the whole community safe. We provide education and advice with the goal of ending sexual abuse.
