Facillitators support and encourage participants by rolemodelling recovery and nurturing community connectivity. One-to-one peer support is available throughout each series with participation certificates awarded at graduation. Sessions are held once a week for 8-12 weeks at community centres, marae and other local and accessable sites across the Hutt Valley, Wellington, Porirua and Kapiti Coast. Stigma and Discrimination Consultancy: Works with whānau and individuals to resolve discrimination issues associated with mental distress and/or addictions. Provides informed consultancy; an inclusive lens for working groups and networks; development of thinking systems to improve service and practice responsiveness; support for policy development. Delivers bespoke and ready-made education sessions to build whānau, individual and community capability in areas such as:
