Sexual Abuse Prevention NetworkWhat we doAt the Sexual Abuse Prevention Network we work with schools, businesses and groups in our community to educate and create open dialogues about sexual violence and to teach strategies and skills to prevent it. We believe that all adults can play a role in preventing sexual abuse.
One in four women, one in eight men and one in two trans* people experience sexual violence in their lifetime. We believe that education and prevention is important in keeping our family, friends, whanau and the whole community safe. Sexual Abuse Prevention Network is a collaboration of three agencies, Wellington Rape Crisis, Wellington Sexual Abuse HELP Foundation and WellStop. We provide education and advice with the goal of ending sexual abuse. Contact us for advice and information or to discuss workshops for schools, workplaces, or other groups.
